FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:How do your commissions work and are they open?
- For commissions -- see the above - I do not start until I receive payment. I do not hold, adjust, draw, or touch my pen until I have full payment. This is not a fire drill and there is no middle ground - pay me and I will draw what you want, I promise -- but not until I get payment.Do you take requests or art trades?
No requests, and emphatically, no trades - I don't have anything for the other person to draw. Is there a wait or queue?
- Usually, yes - for privacy of my clients I do not keep a public "to-do" or queue -- however, my queues are usually short lived as I do have a short lead time(lead time is how long a commission takes to create, draw, complete) on paintings/drawings. Clients usually have 1-2 people in front of them and usually see their piece started on within one business day of payment. How long will my commission take?
Generally three to five business
days. Business means week days only and excludes holidays. I have a full time job that is not drawing, and I also have to carve time out of my day to take care of my horse and ride him, errands, the farm and house, etc. I usually work Tuesday-Friday after 6 PM (EST) on commissions, and very occasionally on Saturday afternoons. I do not work on commissions on Mondays.
I try my best to produce a piece within this time frame, but please be flexible with me -- somedays there is simply not enough hours in a day for me to get to drawing. My commission is done but it's not accurate, can you edit?
Absolutely. I do have a 100% satisfaction guarantee I am pretty serious about. Sometimes I forget things (I always forget scars, I swear to god) so it will not cause the world to come crashing down if you remind me of a scar or marking I didn't do. I will happily edit or even start anew if it means you will be happy with the final product.
